ASSAM TEA
1tsp (per cup) 100 degrees C 2-4 min

The Assam Plateau, which is the world’s largest tea growing area, stretches out on both sides of the Brahanaputra River. Here the climatic conditions for tea are ideal. It is humid and warm and the soil is fertile. The first harvest starts after the winter break in February. Unlike Darjeeling however, the second harvest in June/July produces the highest quality Assam tea. May be taken with milk.
